Northumberland 89.7 is your community radio station, built by locals, powered by volunteers, and dedicated to telling the stories that matter right here at home. We’re not part of a big network. We don’t have deep corporate pockets. What we do have is you, our listeners, our neighbours, our community.
Radio-Thon 2025 is more than three days of great music and exciting auction items. It’s how we raise the funds that keep the lights on, the mics live, and your voice on the air. Every dollar we raise goes directly into powering independent radio, from equipment upgrades to community coverage and live music events.
We’re doing this because local voices matter. Because community stories deserve to be heard. And because together, we can make sure Northumberland always has a station that’s loud and local.

About Bark n Brew
At Northumberland 89.7 FM, we believe in using our voice for good—and that includes speaking up for our furry friends. That’s why we created Bark n Brew, a community-powered event designed to support the incredible work of the Northumberland Humane Society.
Every Tuesday at Ganaraska Brewing Company, 50 cents from each beer sold goes directly to helping animals in need—providing care, shelter, and second chances. It's our way of bringing people together to raise a glass for a cause that truly matters. Come for the beer, stay for the paws, and be part of something that makes tails wag and hearts full.
